Show takes registration initiative
A new feature for the forthcoming 2001 Farm Machinery Show will be that all visitors will be registered on entry. This registration process will allow the show organisers to assess the needs of farmers and contractors who visit the show, as well as providing valuable information with which to plan the next event. All visitors to the Farm Machinery Show, which takes place from February 6th to 8th, will be entered into a free registration draw for a Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 pick-up. The vehicle, say organizers, is valued at more than £17,000. Each entrant to the show will fill in a short questionnaire form, on arrival, which will double as an entry form for the Nissan Pathfinder prize. Numerous farmers and contractors around the country have already been circulated details of the show and the registration prize. A registration form will be posted to more than 5,500 farmers and contractors in advance of the event, which opens its doors at the RDS Simmonscourt, on Tuesday, February 6. Close to 100 exhibitors have booked space at the show. In addition, visitors to this year's event will benefit from the arrival of a new solid sided marquee (to be used along side the main RDS Simmonscourt Hall).
