Up to 50 new positions are available on the Glanbia graduate programme, the group has announced.

The 2017 programme will be slightly smaller than the 2016 programme, which took on 65.

Graduates from a host of backgrounds are being sought, with roles in accounting and finance, computer science and IT, digital media, engineering, procurement, supply chain, marketing, human resources and food, nutritional and agricultural science.

Successful candidates will work in global teams, with opportunities for travel and work placements in overseas markets throughout the programme.

Group human resources and corporate affairs director Michael Patten said: “We are seeking high-calibre, ambitious graduates who aspire to help us deliver on our vision to be one of the world’s top-performing global nutrition companies.

“Our graduate programme offers a world-class talent experience where our people are challenged to innovate and deliver real impact every day. If you are a graduate in the disciplines we are looking for, if you have ambitions to be a global player and if you can identify with our values, then we would like to hear from you.”

The chosen applicants will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including subsidised exam support, professional subscriptions, health screening and employee product discounts.

The closing date for applications is 26 October 2016.
