Voice Personals

IFJ Voice Personals is the confidential way to connect with Irish Farmers' Journal readers by telephone. You can place your Voice Personals advertisement, by calling FREE on 1800 805 065 or 0800-912-0492 (NI). All suitable Voice Personals ads we receive appear each week in their own special section of the Irish Farmers' Journal so that readers can reply to the personal ads if they wish.

You can listen to replies to your advertisement or reply to personals that you see in the Irish Farmers' Journal by calling 1570 807 717. Replying or listening to replies on 1570 807 717 cost €1.75 per min incl VAT. Replying or listening to replies on 0906 202 4445 costs £1 per min incl VAT. Helpline calls to 1890 928 802 (RoI) or 0870-1788-558 (NI) are charged at national call rate. Calls from mobiles may cost more.

 

Mart and Factory Priceline

You can get access to factory lamb and beef prices each Thursday morning by dialling our Mart and Factory Priceline on 1550 111 780. The Priceline will also give you a summary of cattle and sheep mart activity. Calls to this service cost 95c per minute incl VAT.

 

Irish Farmers’ Journal AGRIweather

You can receive the latest weather forecasts by telephone and as a text message to your mobile phone using the Irish Farmers’ Journal AGRIweather service.

The Irish Farmers’ Journal provide an interactive weather service specifically designed to meet the needs of Irish agriculture. IFJ Daily Newsline service

Call the Irish Farmers' Journal Daily Newsline on 1550 924 924 for daily and breaking farming news, Monday to Friday. From 10.30am each weekday, you can hear the latest farming news stories on your telephone. Calls cost 95c per min incl. VAT. In about a minute or so each morning, you can hear the latest news.

Every Thursday afternoon, our Noticeboard email gives you a news summary, some recent markets information, a diary of upcoming events, and a summary of what's in the week's Irish Farmers’ Journal print edition.

Classified Advertisements Online

You can now search through the Irish Farmers’ Journal livestock, horses, machinery and motoring classified advertisements from our Web site at www.farmersjournal.ie.

From 1:00 pm each Thursday afternoon, we’ll be publishing our complete livestock, horses, machinery, and motoring classified advertisements on our site at www.farmersjournal.ie. From our home page, click on the Classifieds button to bring you to the full list of livestock, horses, machinery, and motors on offer.

The Irish Farmers’ Journal Interactive online machinery classified advertisements allow you to look for different categories of machines or to view all the machines on offer by machinery traders around the country. You can view ads on general machinery for sale, machinery wanted, machinery for hire, machinery parts, and wheels and tyres for sale. You can also click into listings of all the machines on offer from machinery dealers, so you have a full list of the equipment you’ll see when you visit their dealerships.

Because we publish all of our classified ads each week, you can browse through our Property classifieds to find land for sale or to let at home and overseas, accommodation, and property offered by auctioneers. Under Farm Stuff, you can search for various kinds of animals, buildings and equipment, feed and supplies, and farm services. And you can also look through our Recruitment classifieds.

 

Booking Advertisements

While you’re on the Irish Farmers’ Journal Interactive classified advertisement site, you can also book your advertisement in both the print and Web edition of the Irish Farmers’ Journal. This means you can send us your classified ad across the Internet outside of normal business hours.

The site also allows you to download and print out a pre-paid coupon to advertise with the Irish Farmers’ Journal. You can read and print the pre-paid coupon using Adobe Acrobat 4.0, which you can download free from our site. Using the pre-paid coupon you can send your pre-paid classified advertisement FREEPOST by conventional mail (no stamp required) to the Advertising Department, FREEPOST, Irish Farmers’ Journal, Irish Farm Centre, Bluebell, Dublin 12, Ireland. Include your Credit or Debit card details to avail of a 30 percent discount on your pre-paid ad.

Remember that all of our classified livestock, horse, motoring, machinery, property, and recruitment advertisements will appear in both the Irish Farmers’ Journal print edition and online at www.farmersjournal.ie.
