The seventh annual Irish/Welsh national charity road run will take place in Pembroke, Wales, on 30 April.

It is expected that upwards of 150 enthusiastic vintage lovers and their tractors will travel from all over Ireland.

Participants in the run will make their way to Roslare ferry port on Saturday morning 29 April for this fantastic charity event. John Rowe says that the event is getting bigger and better every year.

The road run will take place on Sunday 30 April followed by a social night hosted by the Welsh friends. Anyone wishing to take part in this charity run can contact Irish Ferries in Roslare at 053-913 3158 to book your tractor. Booking Ref is Bargy Vintage Club and the cost is €200 return – this includes a tractor, driver and one foot passenger.

John highlights that anyone travelling must look after their own accommodation in the Pembroke/Haverford West area. Buses will be available for transfers to and from the hotel or B&B.

It is planned that all involved will travel back on Monday 1 May (Bank Holiday) for any further information contact Willie Day on 087-768 3820 or John Rowe on 086-255 0704.
