Farm crop dryers will remain eligible for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) announced that farmers will remain eligible to receive support for crop drying, drying of non-woody biomass fuels and wood drying for non-fuel use.

Last September, BEIS looked to tighten up rules for the scheme after criticism of over compensation. NFU England and Wales, along with FEC Energy, lobbied the Government to ensure continued payment of crop drying.
