Cork fashion show

16 Oct: Wilton Shopping Centre is holding a fashion show on Thursday at 6.30pm in aid of Brú Columbanus, a charity which provides accommodation for relatives of seriously ill patients in any of the Cork hospitals and the hospice. Féile na Sollán

17-19 Oct: This traditional culture festival will take place in Sallins, Co Kildare. Boasting plenty of events for all ages, highlights include trad music sessions, bilingual workshops in sean nós, céilí dancing, singing and bodhrán playing. Conamara Sea Week

17-27 Oct: Conamara Sea Week celebrates the marine heritage of the area. The festival takes place in Letterfrack, Co Galway. Events include music workshops, a regatta and a light parade. Wexford Fringe

17 Oct-2 Nov: Wexford Fringe offers a mix of over 300 events over 17 days, with cabaret, comedy, circus, dance, film and lots more. Sligo Live

22-27 Oct: Sheryl Crow is just one of the 300 artists set to perform at the Sligo Live festival.
