The Dealer has seen some brave things in his life, but the sight of Kenny Fraser, a farmer from Fife in Scotland, performing 22 push-ups in the nip in the back of a pickup truck to raise awareness and money for Combat Stress, is certainly near the top of the list.

The 43-year-old completed the feat in Auchtermuchty High Street, Fife, Scotland, with only a sock to cover his modesty.

The footage, below, was filmed by his friend, who cannot control his mirth at Fraser’s antics.

The #22PushUpChallenge originated in the United States to raise awareness of veterans’ mental health. Since the start of 2016, the challenge has been gathering a large following with people doing 22 push-ups and then donating to veteran mental health charities.

Fraser said: “It’s a great cause but I wanted to do something different with videos or else it can come across a bit boring sharing the same thing 22 days in a row.

“I’ve got a lot of friends in the forces and I think everyone knows someone who has been affected by depression.

“It turned a few heads definitely. I’m quite shy but it’s for a good cause so it didn’t bother me at all. In saying that, I wouldn’t have gone without the sock. It was right in the middle of town but the weather could have been a lot worse to be fair, at least it wasn’t raining.”

The video has now been viewed more than 34,000 times, with viewers in the UK encouraged to donate £5 to Combat Stress by texting PTSD22 to 70004.

In a message posted with the video, Fraser said: “People are feeling so low they are taking their own lives. Let’s make that stop.”

Well the Dealer takes his hat off to the man, or maybe that should be my sock...
