The first meeting will take place at Corrin Mart in Fermoy, Co Cork, at 11am.

Dairy specialist Aidan Brennan will kick of proceedings with presentation on the current market position. He will also look at the costs that can be cut to maintain profitability in 2015.

Cork dairy farmer from Con Murphy will share his personal story and explains how to stay positive this year.

He is followed by Olin Greenan, who is an Irish farmer sharemilking in New Zealand. Jack Kennedy will ask him what we can learn from other countries managing price volatility.

Today's meeting concludes with a panel discussion chaired by editor of the Farmers Journal, Justin McCarthy. The topic for discussion is managing finances in 2015. Panel members include Sean O Leary, IFA, Stuart Crowley, IFAC, Peter Young, Farmers Journal, Adrian O' Callaghan, Teagasc, and Liam O Flaherty, Dairygold Co-op.

The next meeting takes place in Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny, today at 7.30pm. On Tuesday there will be meetings in Slieve Russell and Breaffny House.
