Hi again,

Unfortunatley I didn't realise the closing date for the blogs was also extended, as I would definitely had a few more blogs to add.

Well anyway as for all the cattle, they are keeping great . All the calves are thriving well and the stores are also content ! Although the weather has not been to kind to us, today it was showing signs of improvement up here in the north-east. Tonight my father and I are thinking of heading to Carnaross mart to check out the prices. I am also eagerly awaiting next Monday evening as the Autumn weanling sales are starting in Blayney mart!

Finally going back to the heifer competition, I have to say its been a fantastic month and one thing I have noticed is that I have learned a few new bits and pieces about the sucklers! Again I could not explain to you all how much winning one of these fine heifers would mean to me and I could assure you's that it could not come to a better home.

One way or another I hope to see you all at the ploughing in September anyway.

So thanks Justin, Shirley and the farmers journal and below i am leaving you's with one of the more amusing pictures of how much this charolais calf enjoys his meal !!
