The supreme Hereford champion was awarded to Tom and Anselm Fitzgerald, Glebe House, Mount Temple, Moate, Co Westmeath, with the two-year-old junior cow Griananpoll 1 Orange 661. This Smithson Nationwide daughter was shown with her one-month-old heifer calf at foot.

In addition to the main championship honours, two special calf championships were held, which attracted massive entries with almost 50 calves competing for these awards.
