According to a post published on Facebook on Thursday by the calf's owner, Sandra Murphy, the Holstein Friesian went missing between 6pm and 6.30pm at the Virginia Show, after the Baileys Class had finished.
Sandra has asked that people share the post and says if anybody was at the show and saw anything, "no matter how insignificant" to please contact the Garda in Virginia, Cavan on 049 854 7002.
The post has so far been shared over 500 times with Sandra saying in the comments that she is "absolutely gutted".
