A status yellow weather warning remains in place for the entire country until 10am today, potentially bringing snow and icy conditions. According to Met Éireann, the snow should clear by the afternoon and temperatures should increase to around 5°C.

Cool northeasterly breeze throughout the day, particularly fresh on the east coast. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop below zero, with hard frost on Tuesday morning.
