Weather

According to Met Éireann, today will be dry in most parts, but cloudy. A little patchy rain and drizzle will occur in coastal areas, but will spread further inland during the evening. The northern half of the country will remain cold, with top temperatures of just 5°C to 7°C, while they will reach 8°C to 11°C elsewhere, especially along the south coast. Winds will be moderate to fresh southeasterlies.

Rain is forecast to become more persistent as more clouds push in from the Atlantic tonight, keeping temperatures above freezing point.
