There will be a widespread frost this morning that will be slow to clear, and it will remain cold for the day with highest temperatures of 4°C to 6°C in moderate easterly winds. The day will be generally dry, although there will be occasional showers, particularly in eastern coastal areas, with the potential for these to fall as sleet or snow.
