Weather forecast

Rain will develop across the western half of the country this morning and will extend eastwards during the second half of the day, according to Met Éireann. A clearance will follow into Connacht, west- Munster and northwest Ulster in the afternoon. The rain will finally clear the east coast this evening. Highest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees in fresh southerly winds.
