Kerry Group, which reported 5.5% growth for its financial year 2017, has also announced that Brian Mehigan will retire as chief financial officer (CFO) in September. He will take up the position of chief strategy officer.

He will be succeeded by Marguerite Larkin as CFO. Larkin is a partner with Deloitte and has held a number of roles there, including in audit and risk. She has over 25 years' experience and has served as lead client partner for a number of the firm’s largest clients operating in a broad range of industries including food and beverage, pharma and technology.

She is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Masters in accounting. She will be appointed to the board on taking up the chief financial officer position on 30 September this year.
