Windy conditions are expected in Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.

Southwesterly winds reaching mean speeds of 65 to 80 km/h and gusts of 110 to 130 km/h likely are forecast. Coastal and hilly areas will be hit worst.

Parts of Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Roscommon, Tipperary and Waterford can also expect strong winds from tomorrow morning, with a yellow weather warning issued for these areas.

Rain and drizzle is forecast in the northwest tonight, but it will be dry in the rest of the country. Mild temperatures with lows of 5 to 8C are forecast.
