New John Deere managing director

Antony Scott was recently appointed managing director for FTMTA member firm John Deere Ltd in Ireland and Britain. Antony is well known in the Irish machinery trade from his time as agricultural division sales manager for the north of England, Scotland and Ireland until his move to Mannheim in 2011.

In his new role, Antony will be responsible for directing sales and marketing, as well as the dealer development activities of the Irish and British branch.

The association wishes Antony well in his new role.

2015 FTMTA Farm Machinery Show

The exhibitor application pack for the FTMTA Farm Machinery Show 2015 will be issued in the coming days and will automatically be sent to all exhibitors at the most recent FTMTA events. Any other firm interested in exhibiting at next year’s show should contact FTMTA on show@ftmta.ie or at 045-409309 to be included in the circulation of the pack.

The show returns to Punchestown near Naas on 5, 6 and 7 February. The FTMTA Farm Machinery Show is Ireland’s largest dedicated farm machinery event and is the largest indoor agricultural event in Ireland, attracting 18,000 visitors in 2013.
