The event will start with an address by IFA President Eddie Downey on Tuesday at noon.

He is expected to speak about the Rural Development Plan (RDP) and the opening of GLAS, as well as the Irish dairy market and what the EU Commission will do to support it in 2015. Outcomes from the recent beef forum may also be up for discussion.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny will speak at the IFA AGM dinner on Tuesday evening at the Red Cow Hotel.

The Minister Simon Coveney is expected to address the AGM on Wednesday at 9.30am at the Irish Farm Centre. The opening of GLAS and farm safety are topics the Minster may explore during his speech.
