A 25ac holding with house and farm sheds is coming up for auction in Co Tipperary.

The property is at Killusty, Fethard, and is being sold by REA Stokes & Quirke with a guide price of €320,000.

This farm is located on the outskirts of the village of Killusty.

The farm is currently in a mixture of maize and grass and, the auctioneers say, is suitable for any farming purpose.

The land has been rented out for a number of years but, auctioneer John Stokes says, “that farmer has kept it as good as his own. It’s great dry land, you could walk it in your slippers”.

House

The two-bedroom house is 134sq m in area. It was lived in until about three years ago, but is in need of modernisation. The farm has excellent views of Slievenamon and the surrounding countryside.

The farm buildings include a four-bay shed measuring 20m × 6.5m; a two-bay barn with lean-to plus a range of cut-stone old-style farm buildings.

The farm will be auctioned on 21 October 2021 at 3pm at Hotel Minella, Clonmel.
