There are 3,300 year two and 100 year one Knowledge Transfer payments yet to be issued to eligible participants in the scheme.

Some €9.9m has been issued to 15,400 farmers for year two of the KT scheme and payments are still being processed.

Meanwhile, €12.5m has been issued to 19,000 year one participants. Facilitator payments of approximately €12.9m have also been issued for both years.

The figures were revealed in response to a parliamentary question from Fianna Fáil agriculture spokesperson Charlie McConalogue.

Outstanding payments are due to changes of herd ownership during the scheme year, use of a different BPS application number to that used for the KT scheme or the manual submission of scheme completion information.
