The 66th IFA AGM took place last Thursday 28 January. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the AGM was held remotely for the first time in the IFA’s history. An Taoiseach Micheál Martin TD attended as the guest of honour.

The Minister for Agriculture, Food and Marine Charlie McConalogue TD and Ministers of State Pippa Hackett and Martin Heydon also attended. Among the issues discussed were CAP, Brexit, climate, forestry and the Fair Deal scheme
