Meath auctioneer Thomas Potterton has two properties coming up for auction. One is 75ac with a two-storey farmhouse and yard at Delvin, Co Westmeath.

The farm is in the townlands of Clonmorrill and Stonestown, off the Athboy to Delvin road. It is 5km from Delvin, 10km from Athboy and 26km from Mullingar.

The farmhouse needs some modernisation. The yard has a two-bay hayshed with lean to, a cattle chute and holding pen.

The farm will be offered in lots. Lot 1 is 3.68ac, fronting on to the L5512 and a cul de sac, guided at €50,000 to €60,000.

Lot 2 is 28.67ac with the house and farmyard, guided at €400,000. Lot 3 is 29.51ac, guided at €8,000/ac to €9,000/ac. Lot 4 is 11.95ac a short distance away at Stonestown, guided at €100,000.

The second property is 18.5ac at Moneymore, Longwood, Co Meath. The land is 2km from Longwood and 11km off the M4. It is laid out in two divisions. The property has a cattle pen and chute and frontage on to the L8031. “This land has been well minded,” Thomas Potterton said. The guide price is €11,000/ac to €12,000/ac.
