IFA regional executive

The Irish Farmers’ Association (IFA) is currently recruiting for a regional executive. Duties include, but are not limited to, the provision of advice and support to the association's elected members in the region, co-ordination and management of administration staff and membership agents and co-ordination of the IFA’s lobbying efforts in the region.

Head herdsperson and calf rearer

Two positions are currently available on a Scottish dairy farm, namely head herdsperson and calf rearer. These are full-time permanent positions on a large expanding dairy farm in south Lanarkshire.

The head herdsperson would be responsible for the day-to-day herd management and liaising with the animal health manager. The calf rearer would be in complete charge of calf rearing from birth through to point of calving.

Experience would be preferred, but they are willing to offer training to the right candidate.
