The venue is sparing no effort in making this a show to remember and one to celebrate American Independence Day in style.

The line-up

Patrons are in for a real treat with Aidan Quinn and his four-piece band, a guest appearance by one of the true legends of Irish country music, the great Gene Stuart, as well as Ireland’s first female Eurovision representative, Muriel Day, who is singing some great country songs.

Also on the show is Phillip Magee, the former X Factor finalist who is making a welcome return to the music scene after taking a few years out of the limelight. The night will be hosted by Malcolm McDowell.

The Beer Garden will be open from 7pm and will feature a country DJ, line dancers, and barbecue. The main show starts at 10pm in the Mirage Club and it’s an event not to be missed.

prepares for country festival

The line-up for this years’s mid-summer country jamboree at Holy Cross GAA pitch near Thurles on 20 July was announced. The Cut Loose Country Festival will feature Declan Nerney, Jimmy Buckley, Mike Denver, Michael English, Louise Morrissey and Robert Mizzell. Gates open at 12 noon and there will be non-stop entertainment until 7pm.
