Argo Tractors, the Italian-based company that manufactures Landini, McCormick and Valpadana tractors, has begun construction of a distribution branch in Vaulx-Milieu in the southeast of France.

The branch is set to support Landini and McCormick operations in France.

The new Argo France site is set to be a national training centre, with the technological resources and know-how to support dealers and their customers.

Argo has big plans for France.

According to Jean Luc Fernandez, general manager of Argo France, the company’s goal for the next five years is to increase the dealer network by 20% to achieve 70% representation across the country.

They are aiming to achieve a market share of 5%, establish a presence in the orchard and vineyard tractors segment, increase sales of medium- and high-power tractors, and reach a turnover of more than €70m.
