Blast and Wilde have been crowned Supreme Champion in this year's Blas na hEireann Irish Food Awards.

The food company dominated the flavoured butter category, receiving gold, silver and bronze awards for their products at the awards in Dingle, Co Kerry on Saturday.

In the dairy categories in the 2014 Blas awards, Aurivo Consumer Foods Ltd's Connacht Gold Creamery Butter received gold in the butter category. Dingle Farmhouse Cheese's Fresh Milk recieved gold in the milk category, while two goat's milks received silver and bronze.

Farmhouse yogurts topped the yogurt category, with Killowen Farm Greek-Style Yogurt with Wexford Blackcurrant receiving the gold award.

In the meat cateogories, Hilton Food Irl's Finest Irish Angus Quarter Pounders and Finest Irish Angus Fillet Steak were both awarded gold in their categories.

Oliver Carty products had a clean sweep in the Bacon (Other) category, receiving gold, silver and bronze awards.

Keepak's Supervalu BBQ Pork Ribs was awarded gold, while another two of their products, Butcher's Select Lamb Lollypop Chops and Butcher's Select 8oz Fillet Steak were both awarded silver.

Shaws Crumbed Ham, produced by Kerry Foods was awarded gold in the Cured Meat and Charcuterie (Ham) category. Denny Old Style Ham, also produced by Kerry Foods, was awarded bronze.

Spar Premium Pork Sausages beat Superquinn's famous Pork Sausages for the gold award in the Breakfast Sausage category.
