Farming

Feed the animals with their hay,

You must do this every day,

Check the sheep are ‘live and well,

Just before the lunch bell.

Now in Spring, things are busy,

Sometimes you might feel dizzy,

This is because your lack of sleep,

But don’t forget this is for your cows and sheep.

Now in Summer, things settle down,

But you have to go into town,

To get hay,

For a cold winter’s day.

Now in Autumn, your barley has grown,

From seeds you have already sown,

You need to plant new seeds,

You have to take out all the weeds.

Now in Winter give them hay,

For breakfast, lunch and dinner every day,

Put them in your shed,

There is a cold night ahead.
