From foragers to loaders to tractors to its green line range of grass equipment, Claas will be exhibiting plenty of new kit on its stand at the show.

The newly introduced mid-range Torion 1511 P wheel loader will be taking centre stage, making its Irish debut. With power and hydraulic increases, it offers a power to weight ratio of 62kg/hp.

Fitted with a 6.8l six-cylinder DPS Stage V engine it produces 228hp, 40hp more than the Torion 1511. With an operating weight of 14,100kg, it features three driving ranges to ensure an optimum gear ratio is selected. The second axial piston motor is automatically disconnected at speeds of over 16km/h.

Claas will be exhibiting its recently launched first telescopic loader in the Torion range, namely the 738T Sinus.

Telescopic Torion

Claas will be exhibiting its recently launched first telescopic loader in the Torion range, namely the 738T Sinus. Featuring a new central telescopic boom, the loader is powered by a 73hp Yanmar four-cylinder engine. The 738T has a bucket pivot point height of 4.96m and a maximum articulated tipping load of 3,800kg. The loader is fitted with a ground drive hydrostat and two-speed automatic gearbox and has a hydraulic capacity of 93l/min (second 28l/min pump for increased flow optional).

Next-generation rakes

In the event of a collision, Claas says the tine arms deflect at a predefined bending point to avoid damaging the auxiliary gearbox. The rotors are fitted with individual friction clutches to protect against overload.

Claas will be displaying its updated range of twin-rotor Liner rakes.
