Tipperary auctioneer Noel Corcoran is handling the sale of a c27-acre non-residential farm at Cahir Abbey Upper on the outskirts of the town of Cahir, Co Tipperary.

The land, which is in permanent pasture, is all in one block and laid out in four divisions.

Up to now, the land has been in use as an equine enterprise, with post and rail timber fencing as well as equine electric fencing still in situ.

The farm was once part of a larger estate but was separated by the M8 motorway which abounds the land on one side. Also located on the property is a dilapidated cottage residence. Selling agent Noel Corcoran will offer the farm for sale by public auction on the 27 September at 3pm in the Kilcoran Lodge Hotel, Cahir.

Corcoran said he has received good interest in the land so far and is guiding in the region of €9,000 and €12,000 per acre for the entire.
