Phil Mack Country Show goes on tour

The Phil Mack Country Show on Sky 191 goes on tour to Kerry next weekend. Phil and the team will host their Killarney weekend in the Gleneagle Hotel from 26 to 29 September. Three great concerts are lined up over the weekend, with performances from Mike Denver, The Murphys, The Outlaws, Louise Morrissey and many more. Tickets for all the concert shows are €25. Singin’ The Legends

Mullingar singer Camillus Egerton will launch his new album, Singin’ The Legends, at a gala night in the Greville Arms Hotel in Mullingar on Tuesday, 23 September.

The new album features 12 country classics, including Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain, The Cowboy Rides Away and Take Your Memory With You.

Fundraising event

The Errigal Hotel in Cootehill, Co Cavan, will host a concert on 25 September at 9pm. The event is being organised by local musician John McIntyre. Proceeds from the venture are in support of Drumlin House Training Centre and St Christopher’s Hospice.

Michael English and his band top the bill and the night will feature guest appearances by Sandy Kelly, Brendan Quinn, Matt Leavy and many more. All support will be most welcome.

New album

On 22 September, Ciarán Rosney will launch his new album at the Well in Moate. Other launch nights have been arranged for the Tulsk Inn in Co Roscommon on 13 October and the Glencarn Hotel, Castleblayney, on 20 October.

Bring Jamie Home

Another fundraising venture in support of the Bring Jamie Home Trust will be held in Tougher’s Bar in Naas on 24 September.
