Dale Farm has increased its milk price by 1p/l for August, raising its base to 25.25p/l. The co-op also pays an additional 0.3p/l loyalty bonus to its members on top of the outlined base price.

Once this bonus is factored in, it puts Dale Farm’s suppliers on an all-in base of 25.55p/l for last month.

So far, Dale Farm is the only processor in Northern Ireland to announce a price increase for August. Lakeland Dairies held its base price at 25.25p/l on Friday, with Strathroy also holding at 25p/l.

Glanbia Milk also left its August price unchanged, but remains out in front on a base of 26p/l.
