Milk processors have increased prices for March, making it the third month in a row that a price rise has been applied.
Dale Farm leads the way on base price, with a 1p/l increase bringing it to 29.55p/l, inclusive of its 0.3p/l loyalty bonus.
It is the highest base price paid by a NI processor, excluding winter bonuses or back payments, since September 2017. Back then, Dale Farm paid from a base of 30.2p/l.

Lakeland Dairies was again first to declare for March supplies, adding 0.75p/l bringing its base to 28p/l.
However, Lakeland continues to pay a 1p/l co-op bonus to all suppliers, across all litres delivered last month. With this bonus added in, Lakeland suppliers start on 29p/l before top ups on milk quality.
Elsewhere, Glanbia Ireland added 0.75p/l to its price, leaving suppliers on a base of 29.25p/l. Strathroy set its price mid-week and is holding steady at 28.5p/l.
