As it reached the mid-way point of its 32-county drive, Embrace Farm stopped at the Irish Farm Centre on Tuesday 28 August, the home of the IFA, the Irish Farmers Journal, The Irish Field, FBD Insurance and Macra na Feirme. The core message of this journey embarked on by Embrace Farm was to remember the 290 lives lost across Ireland over the last 10 years and to raise awareness of farm safety. The tractor is making its way up the east coast and will enter Northern Ireland later this week. The support of Macra na Feirme drivers from local clubs in each county and from the Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster in the north has ensured that the tractor is reaching far and wide in spreading its message.
