Recently affiliated to the Irish Shows Association (ISA) and the Irish Pony Society (IPS), the The Enniskillen Horse and Pony Show committee have been able to make their schedule incredibly varied, with over 90 classes to suit everyone.

Affiliating to the ISA has enabled the show to host five qualifiers, including the All Ireland Three-Year-Old Connemara Filly Championship, as well as the Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) Irish Draught Colt and Filly Foal Championship.

The show is running registered SJI show jumping from 90cm to the 1.35m Grand Prix on the Saturday taking place in the magnificent Walled Garden arena.

Main day

Sunday is the main showing day, with a huge range of classes such as IPS classes, broodmare and youngstock, a full range of Connemara and Irish Draught classes as well as working hunter and unregistered clear round jumping.

The facilities at Castle Irvine are world-class, with state of the art surfaces.

Travelling from afar to the show is no issue as Castle Irvine has 95 permanent stables on-site, with lorry and caravan hook ups for anyone wanting to make a weekend of it.

Prizes

The working hunter competition has a prize fund of £500 sponsored by Calor Gas, which will see the Champion Working Hunter Horse or Pony take home £400 and the Reserve Champion take home £100.

The Connemara Champion will take home £200 and Supreme IPS Champion will also take home £200.

The committee have expressed their excitement at seeing the entries coming in on JumpTime.ie and are really looking forward to welcoming everyone to the 2022 show.

The committee extends their gratitude to Mr Derek Keys for allowing them to host the show in such an amazing facility.
