Paddy is one of Ireland’s most prolific recording artists and We’ll Meet Again is his 28th album since he came on the circuit.

“I have always enjoyed studio work and choosing songs for albums,” says Paddy. “It is a challenge I love and there is a great feeling of satisfaction when you are happy with the finished product.

“The new album will be available at all my gigs from the 7 October and in record stores around the country as well as from my website, paddyobrien.com.”

It is now all of 26 years since the Aglish native went on the road with his band, touring Ireland and the UK.

He represented Ireland at the European Gold Star Awards in Holland at the end of the 1980s, an experience which he treasures to this day.

Joining Paddy and the band in Mallow on Monday night will be Declan Nerney and his band, Shaun Loughrey, Gerry Guthrie, Patrick and Conor O’Sullivan, Peter Burke and Lana Gibson.

Dancing will get underway at 9pm. Another launch night will be held in the Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy on 21 October.
