Farmers have until Friday 12 October to get their entries in for the 26th annual Premier Meat Exhibition taking place next month.

The event is organised by the Scottish National Fatstock Club in conjuction with Scotbeef and is sponsored by M&S.

It kicks off on Wednesday 14 November with live judging at Caledonian Marts in Stirling followed by the judging of carcases and the awards presentation on Saturday 17 November at Scotbeef’s Bridge of Allan plant.

The exhibition will run alongside the club’s Native Pony Winter Fair on Saturday 17 and LiveScot on Saturday 24 November – both of which are held at Lawrie & Symington’s Lanark Mart.
