Farmec Ireland based in Co Meath is the main Irish importers of SIP, Sulky, MX loaders, Twose and as of recently the Duvelsdorf range of grassland management tools. Farmec will have a wide selection of machines from all its brands on display.

The SIP Star 1250/50T four-rotor will be present on the Farmec stand.

On display from SIP will be the Star 1250/50T four-rotor 12.5m rake. Features include hydro pneumatic rotor suspension and tandem bogie axles. The new 35m Spider 1100/10T heavy duty trailed tedder will also sit centre stage.

The 10 rotor 35m Spider 1100/10T heavy duty trailed tedder will sit centre stage on the Farmec stand.

Farmec will also display for the first time in Ireland Sulky’s most recent Progress drill. Available in 3m, 3.5m and 4m working widths, it is a major revamp of Sulky’s combination drill. It can be used in combination with a power harrow or disc toolbar. A major selling point is its overall versatility such as the optional triple hopper for sowing multiple crops and or fertiliser in one pass. Three different coulter options offering various degrees of downwards pressure are available. The 3m model offers 20 rows with 15cm spacings.

Also making an appearance for the first time on Irish soil is the Duvelsdorf Green Rake pasture rejuvenator. Duvelsdorf is a German company that specialises in grassland maintenance equipment. The 3m machine expected to be on display is equipped with a front levelling board, three tine rows and a rear prismatic roller. The unit is fitted with an air seeder.
