A farmer has died following an accident on his farm in Broadford Co Limerick. Gardaí were called to the scene of a sudden death of a male (70s) on Saturday, 2 February.
In a statement, Gardaí said: “A male was working on his farm when he slipped and fell and fatally injured himself.
"He was brought to University Hospital Limerick where he was pronounced dead, a post mortem is due to take place."
The Health and Safety Authority (HAS) has been notified and are investigating the incident.
