Tonight will be dry in most places, according to Met Éireann, though in the west and midlands there is a risk of a few scattered showers.

It will turn cold overnight, with temperatures lowest in the east and south of the country. There will be a risk of groundfrost.

Wednesday will be dry but cool, with sunny spells and a few isolated, scattered showers in the morning.

Temperatures will range from 11°C to 14°C.
