The IFA will hold four regional meetings ahead of the European elections, during which farmers are invited to put their questions to future MEPs.

IFA president Joe Healy said that the European Parliament has an increasingly important role in decision-making, and urged farmers to come along to find out how candidates intend to represent farm issues. The meetings will take place from 24 April until 7 May, in Mayo, Westmeath, Cork and Kilkenny.
