This free online app is a map and notebook that lets you record and discuss work and observations with your team. It allows the farmer to add notices or pictures and set a reminder to go back to the field to complete a job, for example a broken wire or stone needed to be taken out. You can add people to the app such as a contractor which will show them where to avoid, such as a wet spot or ground rock exposed when mowing.
This free weather app offers the chance to view weather conditions on an animated sky that displays the temperature, cloud cover and rain amount forecasted. It is easy to use and displays the data in three formats – a table, graph and a virtual sky. Farmers can easily access information.

The Bull Match app genetically matches cows with bulls to produce a calf of the required standard. It helps the farmer to pre-plan breeding. It is available for an annual subscription of €70.
Herd watch is not new to some farmers but it has undergone some updates to the app. These include the ability to take a quick picture of your tag number and record it as an animal when tagging calves instead of having to type in the number. Another feature is automatic recording of medicine use by simply snapping a picture of the barcode and on the bottle.
