Greybridge Classic Club are inviting tractor drivers to take part in their first ever festive night-time tractor run on Friday 28 December.

The tractor run will kick off at 5.30pm from Manister Community Centre in Co Limerick and all proceeds will go to Cliona’s Foundation.

Macra’s Queen of the Land Louise Crowley, is part of the team organising the tractor run and told the Irish Farmers Journal she’s hoping to get as many farmers out with their Christmas lights as possible.

The run plans to pass through a number of villages on the way and people are encouraged to come out and watch tractors pass.

For anyone hoping to see the tractors the planned itinerary is as follows:

  • Start Manister Community Centre – 5.30pm.
  • Bruff Carebright Community Centre – 6pm.
  • Athlacca – 6.15pm.
  • Bruree – 6.30pm.
  • O’Rourke’s Cross – 6.35pm.
  • Caoimhe’s Christmas lights at Lynch’s Cross – 6.50pm.
  • Coolruss Christmas lights – 7.00pm.
  • The Quarry – 7.10pm.
  • Finish at The Rock Bar in Granagh – 7.30pm.
