A unique feature on the Farmec stand this year will be the SIP AIR 300F pickup rake which claims to represent the cutting edge of swathing technology. The SIP AIR concept combines the patented flexible pickup with the cross belt transporter to provide high-speed swathing performance.
The camless flexible pickup spring tines provide cleaner raking with significantly reduced crop contamination and reduced leaf loss. The robust linkage with hydro-pneumatic float system follows the ground contours perfectly.
The hydraulic drive enables perfect crop flow to either side of the pickup. The AIR swather is available both in tractor-mounted and trailed options with working widths of 3.45m and 4.95m respectively. The swath width can be adjusted between 0.5m and 1.2m and capacity is rated at up to 10ha/h.
Disc mowers
SIP disc mowers feature quick blade change and disc drive protection systems as standard. Silvercut models also have a central pivoting professional cutter bar with adjustable hydro-pneumatic suspension system and 120° stable transport system.
The SIP mower range includes tractor-mounted, front-mounted, trailed and combination models with working widths from 2.16m up to a massive 15m.
Tedders
The SIP Spider tedder range features more rotors per working metre for effective tedding and spreading than the competition.
Double Super C spring tines with different shank lengths provide an even load distribution with better ground following. The full range includes working widths up to 15m.
Rakes
Now well-established on the Irish market, SIP Star rakes with central delivery twin rotors have working widths from 6.60m up to 12.50m. Tandem axles and 3D pivoting rotor linkage follows ground contours at higher speeds and ensures full grass recovery in dips.
Spreaders
Sulky fertiliser spreaders in a range of hopper capacities and working widths featuring Precision Farming options will be displayed on the Farmec stand at the FTMTA Farm Machinery Show.
The Sulky range claims to provide the only boom management system that gives true boom section control in a crescent shape to match the regular twin disc machine spread pattern. The Sulky RTS automatic adjustment control of application rates and width settings uses FERTITEST, the unique online 24/7, machine setting for Sulky spreaders, with direct access via computer, Smartphone or QR code.
A selection of Bargam tractor-mounted sprayers with manual and hydraulic folding booms and full CE legal-compliant specification in a range of tank sizes will be on display.
Loaders
The MX U and T Series loaders, which can be attached and removed in 35 seconds with only one exit from the cab, will also be on show. The T Series has a unique hydraulic self-levelling system that provides up to 35% extra lift capacity. Both models have unrivalled panoramic visibility, MACH multidock instant non-drip hydraulic and electrical connections, Servo Joystick controls and twin-lock safety locking systems.
The MX Manubal V 7000 bale handler lifts and stacks up to four big square bales or three round bales in complete safety.
Twose
Farmec will have the latest addition to the Twose hedge cutter range, the Model TW 67T-5 with a 6.75m telescopic reach, on view. This hedge cutter features a heavy-duty double-skinned flail head with belt-driven rotor for added power and protection, Servo Joystick proportional controls and high-powered hydraulic system with cast iron pumps and motors.
Farmec will also have models from the Falc range of flail mowers and cultivation machinery.
