Breen’s Farm Machinery relocates to new premises

The Clare branch of FTMTA member firm Breen’s Farm Machinery Ltd has recently relocated to the firm’s new, purpose-built premises in Ballymaley on the Gort Road in Ennis. The impressive new site is not far from the firm’s previous location in the Gort Road Business Park, where the firm has operated for over three years. Branch manager Seamus Buckley and the team can be contacted on 065-684 1000.

Bookings and tickets for the FTMTA Show

The level of bookings received so far for the FTMTA Farm Machinery Show 2017 is well ahead of the same point in previous years and has continued at a record rate since the application packs for next year’s event were issued in mid-August.

The FTMTA Farm Machinery Show has gone from strength to strength and recent events have been heavily oversubscribed. While provision to allow for some additional exhibition space is currently under consideration, the organisers, based on ongoing demand, already expect this event to be fully booked even with such an addition.

The FTMTA Farm Machinery Show appeals to farm machinery businesses and buyers alike as a well-organised event, laid out and built to a high standard on a site with top-class facilities, which is easily accessed from Dublin Airport and sea ports. A significant attraction for exhibitors and visitors is that the show has maintained its focus through the years as a farm machinery event. In keeping with the association’s ethos, for both FTMTA Grass & Muck and the FTMTA Farm Machinery Show, of events that are organised by the trade for the farmer and contractor, only stands from genuinely agricultural-focused businesses will be accepted.

The closing date for receipt of completed stand applications is Friday 28 October and, in light of the demand so far, potential exhibitors are encouraged to submit their applications to the association without delay. Any firm interested in exhibiting at next year’s show, and not having received an exhibitor application pack, should contact the FTMTA on admin@ftmta.ie or at 045-409309 to receive a copy. A soft copy of the exhibitor pack for non-member firms of the association is also available from www.ftmta.ie. As advised last week, any motor distributor interested in exhibiting at the motor arena at the show, who has not already received a copy of the motor exhibitor pack, should also contact the association.

The association has received a number of enquiries from people interested in purchasing tickets as, dare we mention it in early October, Christmas presents for the machinery enthusiast in their lives. It will be possible to purchase show tickets online from www.ftmta.ie from 1 December. Tickets purchased in this way will be available at €15 each compared to a cost of €20 for admission on show days.
