The Fulbright-Teagasc Award has just opened for applications, offering postgraduate students the chance to travel and study or research in the areas of agriculture, food and forestry in America.

Fulbright has been offering students the chance to to continue postgraduate study and research in America, supported by the US Department of State and Department of Foreign Affairs for a number of years, but this is the first agri-focused programme.

The new scholarship will see Irish postgrad students travel to the US on the Fulbright programme in order to continue their studies and research in their respective fields.

Suitable candidates must be Irish or an EU citizen, studying or a prospective postgrad student, with a clear research/study area and experienced in the sectors of food, forestry or agriculture.
