Once again Corrandulla Gretta, bred by Derrick Forde, Corrandulla, Co Galway, took the All-Ireland title, sponsored by Ashbourne Meats at Ossory show on Sunday 28 July.
This heifer had a very successful 2013, taking the honours at many shows including the All-Ireland Senior Heifer Calf at Tinahely Show and the Tullamore Show. She was awarded the RDS Belgian Blue Champion of Champions 2013. Corrandulla Gretta is by Empire D’Ochain out of a Cubitus Du Pre Rosine dam Bawnmore Andrea.
The Reserve Senior Breeding Heifer went to a first-time exhibited heifer from the Rosemount Herd of Trevor Ashmore, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford. The heifer, Rosemount Gayle, is by Imperial De L’Ecluse out of an Empire D’Ochain dam Ross Brnx.

Tinahely Show and FBD joined forces once again to host the Belgian Blue Pedigree All-Ireland Calf Finals at Tinahely Show on the August Bank Holiday last. The Judge for the day was Cyril Martin, from Drumconrath, Co Meath.
