Kerry will pay suppliers 29.3c/l excluding VAT for April milk, a spokesperson for the processor has said.

Glanbia Ingredients Ireland (GII) announced this Monday that it has held its base price for April at 29.32c/l excluding VAT for manufacturing milk at 3.6% fat and 3.3% protein.

Glanbia Chairman Henry Corbally said "the Board will continue to monitor dairy markets on a monthly basis".

These prices are unchanged from last month and follow Lakeland Dairies who also announced that their price for April milk was being held last week.

This is in line with Ornua’s purchase price index (PPI), which has remained virtually unchanged since the start of this year.
