US milk production for February stood at 7.5bn litres, which is a 1.8% increase on the same month last year. US milk production for January was also up 1.8%, meaning milk collections from US dairy farms for the first two months of 2018 stands at 15.5bn litres.

Paraguay exported almost 23,000t of beef and beef offal products in February. This brings exports for the first two months of the year to just over 45,200t, which is slightly behind (-1%) last year. Chile and Russia are the main export markets.

Australian beef exports for January and February of 2018 were just over 146,700t, which is 17% higher than last year. Mutton exports for the same months were up 8% to just over 26,200t, while lamb exports were back 3% to 40,700t.

UK wheat exports for January totalled 33,800t, which is the lowest level of wheat exports in five years. For the season to date (July to January), UK wheat exports stand at 306,200t. This is 74% lower than the 1.2m tonnes exported this time last year.
