The last three weeks have seen the busiest season for auctions so far, but it has not all been rosy. A survey of 36 auctions since the second week of June has seen over 55% of properties withdrawn. Nine of these withdrawn properties were sold after auction, with 11 still in negotiations and not sold. Seventeen sold under the hammer. While there have been some spectacular sales, prices seems steady for the most part, depending largely on location and interest.
